We love a challenge at CGR and this project kept our brain cells busy!
This is the area our client wanted the summerhouse, at the end of the raised patio area.
After some serious digging and 4.5mtrs of concrete, 3 steel stilts were manufacutred and installed.
C24 Treated 175mm x 75mm floor joists were installed to support the summerhouse.
Steel frame ready to accept the 4 leaf bi-folder.
100mm thick steel insulated panels formed the shell of the summerhouse.
4 panel bi-folding doors were added along with a sandstone feature wall to match the main house spec.
External Rockpanel sandstone coloured cladding was installed, again inkeeping with the main house colour scheme.
The cladding almost complete.
Electric underfloor heating installed.
French windows installed with stainless steel juliet balcony.
LED downlighters fitted in the canopy.
Just the finishing touches left to the outside, then it's the internal fit out.
Ceramic tiles installed around the "special feature" of this summerhouse???
A bespoke TV feature wall was made from MDF to house the media system and dressed with LED lighting.
LED lights added to the shelves.
Epoxy resin application complete.
We added some of the sandstone blocks from the external feature wall.
A standalone bar was required so I bulit one from MDF.
Then added some of the external cladding to dress the front of the bar.
Now its time to make the back bar unit to house the bottles and glasses.
Glass shelves to the top and storage cupboard to the bottom.
These are the rear shelving panels, again with epoxy resin design added to match the bar top.
Colour changing linear LED lighting was installed throught this build, 30 meters to be excact.
Epoxy resin applied with various colours to replicate a stone/granite effect.
